About

Self-taught infrastructure engineer, lifelong tinkerer, and the person small businesses call when something needs to actually work.

Background

I'm a systems and infrastructure engineer based in the Guadalajara metropolitan area, with a DevOps mindset and a decade of hands-on experience that started with a screwdriver and a broken PC long before it involved firewalls and containers.

Most of what I know is self-taught and battle-tested. I run a production-grade homelab with OPNsense at the edge, Docker services behind a Caddy reverse proxy, WireGuard for remote access, and automated TLS throughout, which doubles as my personal lab for the same practices I bring to client work. Alongside the infrastructure side, I design, build, and maintain WooCommerce storefronts for small businesses, owning everything from the server to the shopping cart.

I work comfortably in both English and Spanish, and I care most about building things that are reliable, secure, and genuinely useful to the people who depend on them.
